e-sessions: kali and dave
February 15, 2011
a few months ago, kali and dave stopped by the studio to talk wedding pics. you see, kali and i go back to the good ole printing lab at UAA so i was thrilled when she came in because this girl has got a cool style about her. as we talked she let me know that she didn’t need engagement pictures or anything like that, but a couple of weeks ago i got a message from her wanting a shot for her program. at this point i knew i was going to be able to lure them into a full engagement session and i’m glad they agreed! i took these guys out onto the inlet and we got some magnificent shots. the weather was cold, but managable and the sun was gleaming.
anyways, enough jibba jabba!
a few from the day…
cheers!

best of 2010
February 14, 2011
with a lot of ups and downs for 2010, it’s hard to realize that we’re already 2 months into 2011. last year was a great year for the photographers at chris cupp photography. we had tons of awesome shoots and we have added video to the arsenal. 2011 will bring great things for my crew and i and i hope you’ll be part of that journey.
here are some of our favs from 2010.
cheers!

e-session: mindy and jorge
February 10, 2011
whenever i do a bridal show i am always excited about the people that i meet. mindy is the first one to contact me after the show at the dena’ina center.
we had a meeting at the studio where we talked about the day and they settled on having the session at russian jack park.
while at the park we had to deal with cooler temperatures and a lot of cross-country skiiers, but everything seemed to work out just fine.
no amount of snow was going to keep mindy and jorge from getting these great shots.
it’s time to let the pictures do the talking,
a few from the day…
cheers!

wedding: kortnie and jake
February 7, 2011
fun…lots of fun is exactly how i would describe this wedding. as my assistant, CT, and i arrived to the church we knew that this was going to be a good day. the crew was in full force at this wedding as they have been in some of my past weddings and i’m sure they will be in full swing this summer as i document jenn and andy (jake’s bro)this summer.
despite the cold weather, we had a great portrait session outside and once we got to the best western on lake lucille we really had a great time! from dancing in the snow to a stolen rock to a surprise firework show, this wedding was great.
my words can’t begin to describe the fun we had so a few from the day…
cheers!

after session: janice and jerry
February 7, 2011
with weather in disarray during the new year, i told janice and jerry that i would photograph their portraits when it wasn’t sopping wet outside…just freezing cold =)
we met at point woronzof right around the time the sun was going to set so we had to work fast for these photos before we ran out of light.
they made it through the session just fine and the results were excellent.
i’m sure this will not be the last time you see this amazing couple on the blog.
a few from the day…
cheers!
