for mandy and pike

today was a tough day. at 6:45am i got a phone call from one of my dearest friends, mandy. her dog, pike, had gone into a seizure and she needed me to drive them to the vet. upon the arrival, she had already made the decision that it was time to let go.
pike has been mandy’s companion for the past 16 years and it’s finally time to say good-bye. he has always been there for mandy, a true friend, a best friend.
