San Antonio, pt 2
March 19, 2009
This is actually going to be Oklahoma City and San Antonio pt 2.
i spent a few days in OKC to hang out with some friends from college and we just had a good time catching up and eating. it was a pretty laid back trip, which is what i needed!
in San Antonio, i went to Sherlock with my step-brothers and sister. there was a live band playing so i excused myself and started to do what i love, take pics. i also took pics of katie, my step-sister because i think her facebook/myspace pics are lame ![]()
a few from the trip…

cheers!

My name is Ryan and my wife and I recently had the pleasure of Chris Cupp shooting our wedding. We feel that we were extremely lucky to have had him and wholeheartedly recommend him.
Chris was all that you would hope for in a photographer. He was easy to work with, on time, courteous, funny, well prepared and took amazing photos. The shooting conditions of our wedding were probably less than ideal as we were indoors, outdoors, in the sun, in the rain, sometimes it was glaringly bright and other times it was ominously dark. None the less, Chris was prepared for it all and took everything in stride (even when the wind broke some of his equipment – of course, prepared as he was, he had more). He built instant rapport with the entire wedding party and guests. By the end of the wedding he was like a member of the family.
As much as we liked him, we didn’t hire him to be our friend or a surrogate family member, we hired him to do photography. He did this wonderfully. Everyone who has viewed our photos has gushed over them. There is a mix of everything you would hope to have. We had the standard family and wedding party posed photos, we had artistic shots of the decorations (believe me after all the work that goes into that, you would hate not to have some images) and then of course the action shots, if you will. The set-up, the ceremony, the moments after the ceremony when you are still having an out of body experience, the dinner, the dancing, the toasts, the cake cutting — he got it all, but was never in the way. For as much as he had to cover (we had a lot going on and we were spread out across a pretty good chunk of land) each shot was amazingly composed. What impresses me most is that he was able to capture the mood that radiated throughout the event. I know looking back on those photos in later years, everyone who was there will be able to conjure up the same giddy delight we felt that day.
If there is anything else I can do to help you feel confident in your decision, I surely will do it. I know that before the actual day, we were worried about the quality of all of our help. We can say, without a doubt, that Chris was our best hire of the wedding. If we had to do it again, we would hire Chris again in an instant.
If you have any specific questions I can answer, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me. All of my contact info is below.
Congratulations on your upcoming marriage,
Sincerely,
Ryan
